Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased 1.4 percent in the first quarter of 2017, according to the “third” estimate released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis. The growth rate was 0.2 percentage point higher than the “second” estimate released last month.

April 2017 Trade Gap is $47.6 Billion

The U.S. monthly international trade deficit increased in April 2017 according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and the U.S. Census Bureau. The deficit increased from $45.3 billion in March (revised) to $47.6 billion in April, as exports decreased and imports increased.
