We’ve made it easier to find what you’re looking for.

Our redesigned homepage features BEA’s latest news and most-watched statistics.

Use the Data menu at the top to explore data by topic or by place.

Want to dive straight into the numbers? The Tools menu takes you to our expansive Interactive Data Tables, the API, and other data tools. (They function the same as before, although they are found at the new subdomain apps.bea.gov.)

Need the big picture? Check out News to see the Economy at a Glance, read The BEA Wire blog, or catch up with the Survey of Current Business. That’s also where you’ll find a list of current news releases and the schedule of upcoming releases.

Have a question? Go to Help for FAQs or to ask a BEA expert.  This handy video provides highlights of the updated website.

Other new features:

  • Research gathered in one place. Find papers and presentations by BEA’s staff, plus information for outside researchers.
  • A roundup of Resources. There’s a Learning Center for students or anyone who wants to know more about BEA’s statistics; descriptions of our methodologies; BEA articles; videos and infographics; and a section for developers.
  • Easy-to-find shortcuts. The Tools section brings together apps that help you quickly brush up on trade stats, learn about your state’s economy, find facts about your favorite industry, and more.
  • Buttons on the homepage for frequent visitors. Survey respondents, journalists, congressional users, and developers may want to start here.
  • A help page just for survey respondents. This new page houses BEA’s international survey forms, the eFile Helpdesk, survey FAQs, and more information.
  • An escape hatch. Ever wish you could go back to the way things used to be? Feel free to visit our old website while you’re getting used to the updates. Click “View Old Homepage” in the new homepage’s Noteworthy section.
