You may be receiving notification from BEA regarding the BE-180 survey for one of several reasons:
- Your company filed a BE-180 previously and, at that time, had reportable transactions on the survey.
- Your company filed reportable transactions on another BEA survey such as the BE-185 Quarterly Survey of Financial Services Transactions Between U.S. Financial Services Providers and Foreign Persons, the BE-10/11 Benchmark or Annual Survey of Direct Investment Abroad, or the BE-12/15 Benchmark or Annual Survey of Foreign Direct Investment in the United States.
- Publicly available information, such as your company’s SEC regulatory filings, press statements, or business databases, indicate your company may have transactions which would be reportable on the survey.
